For Melody Atherton ( Melody) and her sister, music has always been an important part of their lives. Their mother Agatha is a well-known song writer and studio singer. Her father teaches music history at the University of Washington. Her sister Samantha never directly followed her mother or father's path but she still is involved in the music industry from the business end of things. From an early age Melody started working and hanging out in recording studios. She even did some professional singing before she was in junior high.

Isabella Sanchez (Harmony) household was very different from Melody's. She and her three siblings grew up in an almost iconic geek technology home. Her mother is an astronomer for the ESA and her father is an electrical engineer. Growing up in Spain Isabella took an interest in music and dance while attending private school in Madrid. When Isabella decided to head off to college she went for an electrical engineering degree with an eye toward the recording industry. It was in college that she met Melody and between the two they laid the seeds that became Move to the Music!


Janet Huxley (Rhythm) is an only child from the West End of London. Her parents are prominent and respected members of the banking and securities industry. While neither are very artistic, Janet's parents are strong supporters of the arts. Also from an early age it was obvious that Janet was not banker material herself. She went to art school and experimented with being a painter but it was in music and dance that she found her true calling! In many ways she is an uncomplicated soul.

Brandy Macgregor (Beat) comes from a small mining town in Ireland. Growing up with three older brothers and a younger sister Brandy learned at an early age to stand up for herself! Her father was geologist who worked at the mine while her mother tried to keep the five kids from wrecking the household. Here we see Brandy standing as the triumphant victor after her latest skirmish with her brothers. Her early interests were motor racing and boxing. In fact she even competed in some junior boxing tournaments in her younger days. It was only she turned eighteen and moved to Dublin that she got bit by the music bug, but after that she's never looked back!
