And now for something completely different...

Made this in about 2 and a half hours the other night. Mixed/mastered for 3 hours yesterday. Overall, about a 6 hour song.

Got bored of playing guitar, so I picked up the keyboard and started loading random synths and began screwing around. Found the big pad that's at the beginning of the song first, then the sequenced arpeggio thing. One thing lead to another and well, this was born. I like that it's totally different from anything I usually do. Variety is always good. Something I think I lack sometimes.

The arpeggio bit I ran through a bit crusher to give it some more "hair" and make it more distinct sounding from the original patch. I'm quite happy with the drums. There go those Addictive Drums again. My favourite part is probably how it goes from more frenzied, or active drums, to a chilled out breakdown and that it stays that way.

I think I might do some more of these. It was really quite relaxing making something unconventional to my normal arranging habits.

Any crits are quite welcome. As this isn't my normal style, any tips/comments about it are super awesome.
