It's the little plastic tip of a Wacom tablet pen, used for drawing on the computer.

On the previous one, I thought you used the gradient tool to digitally draw the "straw", which made no sense for a real-media mailing. Didn't realize it was a nib until this picture. Witty!
I hope the tape doesn't damage the drawing. Also, incorporating the nib into the art, I wonder if some people might be hesitant to remove the nib. Heh, especially from Wac's butt in the second pic!
