The vulf are a spacefaring race who have spent so long on spacecraft that replacing their heads with a synthetic braincase has become a standard practice, allowing them to withstand high-G manouvers and radiation better than a pure organic; combined with further augmentations to their organs and nervous system, they have excellent reflexes. Vulfine pilots are highly valued as a result of this.
