[TheBlueKitsune] Cheers...?

Leo's not one to consume alcohol of any kind, especially since a ninja must keep his senses sharp and not have them hindered by such a beverage. But sooner or later, he'll probably try almost anything new at least once, and as long as he isn't pressured into it (i.e. if one allows him to go at his own pace), he's gonna try it. But he probably didn't think he'd be sharing such a pivotal moment in his life at a bar with a random werewolf stranger named Alex (a.k.a.
) who was a couple of inches taller than him. The intimidation of such a slightly bigger furry than Leo combined with the pressure of trying a new beverage wasn't exactly making Leo go any faster. But perhaps if he gives this acquaintance - and the booze - a chance, they may possibly become very good friends.
Here's to new friendships... that hopefully won't involve being eaten.
Not often you find me in a YCH, especially in a free YCH, but
just happened to be on the front page offering slots a couple of days after I got back from FE2017. She allow any furs to enter and depending how many would enter, she'd choose on her own who'd get to be in the drawing as she likes to surprise others. How could I refuse (especially since I like special kinds of surprises)? I jumped at the opportunity, and I'm glad I got picked for one of the slots!
I don't know what I love more: Leo's uneasy expression from being with a werewolf or Alex's casual, somewhat devious smile. lol Either way, both facial expressions look pretty funny but are executed so well here. YCH poses turned out nicely and fitting for both parties. Markings on Leo are spot-on, and good work on the wardrobe. The style she drew Leo in is interesting; for his hairdo/mane in particular, she put it together while still maintaining its overall shape despite not making it full and thick like it's normally supposed to be. But making up for it with the slightly larger than average head shape and eye size really adds to the drawing. Good job with the colouring, and very neat job with the lighting and shading style. I'm impressed how she captured the bustling bar scene behind them with all the socialisers and dancers but have them completely in silhouette as well as blurred out almost entirely but still visible.
This is a real nice surprise,
. Thank you very much for this YCH piece! I'm so happy I got a slot!
