Sorry for the huge file...but it's a huge file!
This was done for
takaza and
duncanhusky.
I could write a ten page essay detailing everything I see wrong with it...but it's done after countless hours, repainting Duncan twice, a few painter crashes, and more caffeine than I should like to admit to.
Created in Corel Painter 10 using Oil Pastels, Detail Airbrush, various watercolor diffuses and a few other brushes.
Total size: 18 by 13.7 inches at 300 dpi
At the time of uploading I am closed for work but will open again someday. If you are interested in a piece of this caliber, take note! It's a four digit pricetag

In other words: It looks awesome to me!
WOOOOW
Gosh, that moss just looks so delicious. Even though you say you see errors in it, the piece as a whole looks fantastic. All the little details are a feast for the eyes.
1: .... terribly awesome work there.... the coloration looks simply amazing like an oilpainting.
2: What mistakes? Anatomical? Colorwise? Because they look so unbelievably sweet? I see no errors in either.
3: As a matter of fact it strongly reminds me of my own fursona and a very good friend of mine who I will one day hold like this. So you simply put colored shape to my imagination. <3
If FA would ask for points I'd rate you twice with 100%, but as it is now I just can tell you this: I'd give you double the points for the maximum allowed points.
Believe it, matey.
You said you could write ten pages detailing everything that's wrong with it, but I'd say we could write far more about what's right with it! It looks marvelous.
I'm glad that I saw a little of the labour and dedication that have gone into this. And, as always, I am ravished by your command of light!
There are pieces sometimes that catch my attention and my sympathy immediately and this is one such picture. I think I am especially in love with the atmosphere, their faces and the light in the background.
I should hope so! This is absolutely stunning work! Just amazing in it’s detail and realism. Looks like a place I’d love to visit. Thank you for sharing this marvelous work. Your skills are breathtaking.
Absolutely amazing.
This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! \(^o^)/
The background is ASTONISHINGLY GORGEOUS! ^^
I won't go on about the "detail," for I'm sure EVERYONE above me has mentioned THAT aspect of the picture! x3
It looks so alive it is just breathtaking.
Absolutely breathtaking. What's your computer's RAM like? That had to take up a whopping amount of resources.
Makes me feel a little better, though, I've only got two gigs myself, and if keeping the layers down is what helps keep my glorified abacus from choking on something this size, then I guess that's what I'll have to do ^__^;
It is SO SO SO worth the four digit pricetag.
also, 2 gigs.. holy shit.. must be a ton of layers!
I was wondering.. XD
Im on 8GB myself and on 600 dpi files ( not that my art level deserves it... ) can still slowdown. D:
uber fav!
If only I had half the skill that you do in order to paint like this...and the patience of course.
I have corel painter 10 and for years..I still can't understand it. It pleases me so to see an artist use that program so well. Wonderful work!!
Simply stunning - the 4 figure price tag was undoubtable worth it for the proud owners...
favourited instantly!
I sure hope its a 4 digit price tag!
Absolutely breathtaking, loving, and perfect
This scene is similar to a typical night at my home, except that I have two dogs who are upside-down and in my lap and on my chest. Well, not right now anyway. I couldn't possibly type this if they were. :)
you did an amazing job on the textures!
All I can do is echo what everyone else here as already said. It is a stunning work, warts (wherever they may be) and all. }:=)
