Through the word of the Lord, two heroes give their all to uphold His teachings, albeit through alternative methods (yet never out of blind rage).

Matthias raises his sword toward the heavens, swearing upon his life to rely on his swordsmanship to aid, never purge. He will protect his precious wife and daughter and bring peace to his land (especially allow his new lion comrade to walk through whenever safely).

Leo raises his kunai in the same way, promising to use his abilities to help, never harm. He will protect those that matter most in his life, including his friends (especially his new rat ally).

Through their own unique ways, these two warriors will stand strong against those that dare threaten the peace and bring them to divine justice.

I've accomplished something new this year: I've arranged a joint commission where a friend and I would be in the same picture together. I have many friends for many ideas (especially of various ratings). This time around? I've chosen !

Truth be told, I've been meaning to include that awesome rat in a joint commission for a little while now, and knowing through his FA page how often he commissions , I knew he was an artist I could trust. I was especially honored when Matthias was willing to split the bill with me, reassuring me that "it was only fair." Bless you, Matthias.

And extra blessings to the artist! I mean my goodness! What quality!

Poses were exactly how I imagined them; superb work on the foreshortening and angles, and the body language is pretty active! Amazing contrast on both furries with their body structures (i.e. Matthias having digitigrade feet-paws and Leo having plantigrade feet-paws). Wardrobes on both parties are pretty decent what with the details like Leo's kneepads and shuriken pouch and Matthias' vest and tail-base hole-cover. Cool additional attention to detail on the creases and fold lines. For Leo, well done with the markings being in all the right spots! Excellent work getting his anime-inspired hairdo-mane well-drawn through that style! Both furries have wicked expressions, establishing a confident, brave, headstrong atmosphere of the pic. Tail thickness for both Matthias and Leo is just splendid! Very well done on the detail of the bandages, too! Also bonus points for getting Leo's Naruto-inspired ninja sandals as ninjas sandals! It's especially impressive knowing that is a sort of Naruto expert and comprehending how their wardrobes work!

It's a bit weird seeing Leo with three fingers and a thumb when he really has the regular four fingers and thumb; it's even a bit funnier how Matthias has that instead. lol But it's all good this time around anyway, especially since I'm totally diggin' how Leo's feet-paws were drawn (and with five toes yet not exactly human-looking which is a major plus).

I gotta say, , you have certainly delivered and have made both us look very dignified and badass in this commission! I'm so glad I chose you to draw this for us! And who knows? Maybe I'll come back and have another commission with Matthias... perhaps with our species swapped? Knowing your art style, I'm pretty sure that'd be fun to see. But that's for another FE. lol Thank you very much! You are awesome, and you should feel awesome!
