Fun fact about him! The large forehead eye is a separate being that talks to him in his thoughts. The eye is not very nice. Equinox (you can change his name too) is sensitive and it is very easy to make him cry. The eye being often throbs with pain when the eye demands something of him, often things he doesn't have the heart to do. Think Crona from Soul eater sort of.
When he cries, the black lava lamp goo inside him is what he cries out. If he runs out, he dies, and the eye definitely threatens him with that. Often times if others are aware of his plague they feel obligated to always try to cheer him up or help him out in order to keep him alive.
