Megavolt from my AU story which can be found here -->https://www.fanfiction.net/s/715449.....ew-the-Bassist
Been meaning to redo their bios for awhile now so there should be more of them soon. Was originally intending to do a back view as well but got lazy so you get signature instead. And since I never actually posted the bios on here guess I will do that too for anyone who is curious about Elmo's backstory.
Enjoy!
One of society’s forgotten children, there is essentially no record that Elmo Sparks does, or ever did, exist beyond his involvement in the Fearsome Five. A perfect example of one of the many unfortunates that simply slipped through the cracks of the merciless metropolis that is St. Canard, Elmo has essentially no recollection of where he came from. Although surprisingly intelligent considering he never made it past his first year of high school, Elmo has suffered selective memory problems throughout his life. His persistent lack of parental care and problematic memory caused him to turn to the streets as his only home. Elmo’s oddly innate skill with electronics provided him with an aptitude for electric guitar that he simply seemed to have been born with. Playing his guitar on street corners provided the junkie with his only means of survival, allowing him to make barely enough to stay alive as well as to fund an unfortunate habit.
Already horribly addicted to drugs at a young age, Elmo’s already fuzzy memory only deteriorated further through his self-destructive behaviors leaving him with essentially no recollection of his own past. Always an odd youth, Elmo found a strange sense of companionship in seemingly inanimate objects. Ridiculed since he was young for his abnormal obsession and affection for electronics, he found companionship in the hum of electricity where most children found it in the friendship of others. As his condition continued to deteriorate, his mental and emotional state only grew worse as well. Constantly faced with confusion over where or who he was, he eventually reached a point when he no longer cared about anything beyond his next high.
Elmo’s lack of money combined with his deeply concealed electrical genius led him to develop a truly unique method to state his narcotic needs. The insane rodent risked what was left of his failing health developing a method of delivering extreme doses of electricity straight into his central nervous system in an attempt to get high. By bolting a metal plate to his skull he created a way to deliver a constant flow of current into his body. The continuous exposure to the high levels of voltage had several drastic side effects on the already abnormal rodent. He quickly became severely sensitive to even low levels of light, leaving him to shrink away even more into the darkened streets. Aside from the heavy glow and sensitivity the voltage left his eyes with, the electricity flowing through his central nervous system also began to dictate his body functions, mainly his heart. His natural electrical rhythms were so disrupted that he could no longer survive with a normal heart beat. Without the voltage for a long enough period of time, his heart would slow to a point that it could no longer sustain him.
Although he eventually developed the ability to regulate his electrolytes, allowing him to control the natural voltage, by that point he had grown to detest his own life so much that he reverted back to his usual drugs to escape his own existence. One particularly rainy night, he was found by one Jack Quack lying stoned in the gutter. For reasons Elmo would never fully understand, it was the beginning of the lively mallard’s obsession with him. Pulled from his downward spiral by the most unusual of companions, Elmo formed a bond with an actual person for the first time in his life.
There were soon few memories that the rodent could recall that were not directly attached to Jack. He turned to his music as a substitute for his addictions, spending so many hours sitting beside his overpowered amp that he left himself all but deaf in one ear. Elmo eventually used his one true possession to repay his new found friend, even going so far as to hand make the jester his own guitar that suited his oddly twisted disposition. Jack proved to be an exceptional student, lacking Elmo’s own ability but complimenting it in an extraordinary way. The two had suddenly stumbled upon an unexpected claim to fame. What began as street performances and several open mic nights, quickly turned into an amazingly lucrative career for the two misfits. With the city around them tearing itself apart by its own twisted nature, their talented and dark form of metal began a following that did not go unnoticed by the metropolis’ most recent and mysterious patron.

Eeee thank you so much!! I'm so glad you like it ^.^ It was really nice to draw him again after so long, especially now that I can actually draw him better lol. I wanted him to have a bit more of a ratty snoot than his normal counterpart so I'm happy to hear it came out cute! Funny enough his face in this picture actually came from a previous sketch I did of him that never got posted since I hated the pose. I just loved his expression so much I just had to recycle his face for this image XD And yus goggle glow!! It made for such a nice addition I just couldn't help but steal it for his new reference :3
Yeah it just always seemed like with all that electricity he would tend to overheat easily. That's why he hates wearing shirts lol.

It's very well done! And you've improved greatly since the last picture you've posted, it's great to see! Sometimes Megavolt's face is hell to draw ghdfskj That ratty snoot really suits him, especially well for this sort of AU and design as well! It came out so cute, such a precious snoot ;;//u//;; !! Haha, oh I love it when poses don't come out the way it was planned, so much fun;;;; I feel you, but I'm glad that from that picture you were able to recycle the snout!
He must be wonderful to cuddle up to nearing winter haha, who needs a heater when you can have your own personal one to cuddle haha

Thank you! It's so wonderful to hear that there's really a noticeable improvement in my art :3 I guess taking a hiatus to draw mostly furries was a good thing, even if it wasn't nearly as exciting as I found drawing fanart XD
I thought so too! That's why I just couldn't help but reuse the face. It was just too damn adorable!! Omg I've had pictures morph into something totally different just because I couldn't get the pose I originally had in mind to work. I do kinda love when art evolves like that though, makes it so exciting to see it finally come together.
Awww that would be such an adorable picture of him and Jack! I can imagine Jack hating the cold cause he can't wear his skimpy outfits anymore lol.
