A daughter sacrifices, Part 2
For Lorvianne
ByDragonAndWolfIt was beautiful and outside of Lovianne’s linguistic capabilities, but the notes who were hit from the mysterious singer lured the cat. After all, this could be the shaman she was looking for! So she decided to move in a slight jog towards the origin of the song.
Once arrived, she saw a nude wolf, red fur like a fox, with a white flower in her hair that hung to her butt. Her eyes were closed to focus while sat on a tree trunks with crossed legs, singing her heart and soul out. It was beautiful, and Lovianne stepped slowly and carefully closer to not distract her, wanting to wait till the song ended.
However, for some weird reason, Lovianne started to get sleepy, trying to numb her yawn with a hand as good as she could. Her eyes began to get heavy, and her legs weak. Slowly she started to walk to a spot where she could lay down.
She yelped when something landed on her shoulder. “Hey. Idiot. Walk away. You can’t sleep here! She will do bad things to you!” An excited little reptile yelled at her. Then again how loud can a roughly one-foot reptile yell?
“Natort!” The wolf suddenly snarled in anger, her beautiful singing having come to an end and with it, Lovianne’s sudden sleepiness. Fear, however, kickstarted her survival instinct.
“Eep! Better run for cover, kitty!” The little noot yelled as he jumped off on a tree to slither away. Leaving all the anger of the wolf focused on the cat.
“I… I’m looking for the shaman…” A slightly scared Lovianne informed the wolf.
The woman just growled and showed her sharp fangs, approaching the cat. “Oh, I can show you the shaman… But I won’t… Instead, I’m going to feast on your youth!” She roared and started to sprint towards Lovianne.
The young cat widened her eyes but quickly refocused, got into a battle stance and once the wolf arrived used the momentum of her running against her. With a hand on her chest and one on her waist, Lovianne threw the wolf over herself and against a tree.
“I do not want to fight. I’m just here to find the shaman like I already told you.”
The wolf grinned as she jumped back to her feet. “A feisty one… Hm? But you will need more than that to get rid of me!” And she launched another attack, this time however not attempting to pounce at Lovianne.
Once in range, the cat started out with defense to get used to the canine’s moves. Blocking kicks with her knee and jumping over a sweep, while her hands intercepted and interrupted each and all of the brute but strong attacks coming from the wolf.
And then, an opening presented itself! She shot her palm straight forward against the chest of the siren woods, causing her to stumble a bit back, followed by a high kick right to her chin and a roundhouse kick with her other foot against the head of the wolf as she was still dazed from the first kick.
Before the wolf could even muster a defence, the agile cat was right there again, punching her in the solar plexus, shooting whatever air was in her lungs out. It stunned and hurt the wolf enough for Lovianne to make her escape.
Like the wind, she bolted out of the clearing and deep into the woods, not looking or caring where she went. She only knew she had to get away from the siren. Lovianne though had to remember to thank the little reptilian whenever she meets him again…
