*grin* As good an explanation as any.
I thought one of the wipers might be a backup in case one came off during a race, but I Googled the car and found that three wipers seems to be the typical configuration for that particular Cisitalia (specifically, the 202 CMM [Coupe Mille Miglia]), even if they're not on the racing circuit, though I couldn't find an explanation why.
