The old wax museum had been having trouble getting crowds in, due to a mysterious instigator terrorizing the halls. After splitting up to search for clues, Velma and Daphne find themselves in the hands of their devious captor, the Wax Queen. Cruel and playful, it decides the best way to get them out of the way is to hide them in plain sight. After coating the pair in a heat retardant powder to prevent burning, it coats them in layer upon layer of wax, until naught is left visibly but a pair of giant Chess pieces, queens resembling their previous forms. Returned to the gallery, all they can do is stand and moan as the cool, constricted wax wraps and squeezes every inch of their bodies; the rest of the gang completely unaware of their fates. With such a devious plan in place, it seems that velma and daphne are now stuck in checkmate. The end.
