I like paws too ... Especially viewed at this angle!
I saw the first study as well. I would say that you're doing very well with the design.
When standing, do you have the whole foot on the floor / surface? Or just the front half where all the padding is?
Or maybe you're already planning a study for that too? ;)

Thanks! It's meant to be a digitigrade paw, only walking on the ball of the foot. As such, I know the 'heel' pad is a bit odd, I figure it would get used when resting back on haunches or whatnot. I've seen that trait in one or two other paw drawings and liked it, even though it's less common.
