well the other night coming home from work i stopped and grabbed some pics of my caprice. as i said i had just got off work so i am covered in oil (work at a oil change place)

yeah just got done with all the body work and paint, also got new wheels, cherry bomb exhaust, a K&N air intake, pioneer car audio and a few other small things

oh yeah i am building the motor this summer the only reason i had it repainted and did all the "pretty" mods first was because i am in school right now to learn how to build high performance engines.

You might learn that an LS1 swap might be a good idea. but only if you've got money. A few mods here, a few mods there, and 400 HP is easily yours.

All depends on what your final goals are really. First gen small blocks are the easiest and cheapest to build though. Only downside is you can't legally run one unless your state laws are very forgiving.

I wouldn't want to run a performance car in the winter period. But thats just me.

I'd say the LT swap would be your best choice then.
