This is a shade that will be a main part of the story in the comic that will take me forever to start.

Shades in Athriole cannot come into the world naturally. They are usually summoned by force by a foolish sorcerer who believes they may be able to control the shade. Lacking any power to do so, the sorcerer is killed withing moments of the shade's materialization into the world. When the shade has fully entered the world, it begins to suffer immeasurable amounts of pain which causes the shade to despise and hate the world that causes its suffering. The shade then becomes malevolent and seeks to destroy the world and its inhabitants.
