Hey hey! If you're gonna try to educate kids at a zoo, you might take note that lemurs are primates, which means they have fingernails like humans (not claws) and hand-like feet (not paws)!

This is one of the biggest confusions people have about lemurs, and one of the greatest misinformation struggles that they face in captive conservation efforts! Since so many people think they are marsupials, rodents, cats, etc., they make no connection to them as being related to humans, nor to the fact that they are from Madagascar & not from Australia, etc.
