I've been slacking off a lot those past few days... It's been over a week since I last posted something and I haven't worked much on commissions, either.

I have to get back to it. So, to give my motivation a little kick, I Drew this. It all started as a quick sketch for a Dragon Ball fan character idea I had, but I ended up turning it into a complete pic.

I tried my best to imitate the way Toriyama draws faces, while keeping my own style as a whole. I also played around with the inking to give it more of a "manga" feel.

I originally thought about giving him a short beard, but I'm not too good at drawing them so I stuck with a clean shaved look. Not sure about his hairstyle either, I just wanted him to have a large, breaded ponytail.

For his name, I stuck with the way Toriyama himself names his saiyajin character by basing said names on fruits and vegetables; "Gamon" comes from "mango".

Dragon Ball and the Saiyajin belong to Akira Toriyama;
