Hmm... My only complaint is that a lot of it seems to be panned left - more than actually IS to the left, thanks to the kick drum.

It gives it a lot of stereo depth but since it's such a prominent feature it seems a little off center.

Other than that, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I'm not a huge fan of this style, but this song could probly even get my shy, lazy ass up to dance. :)

Well, you did well. Though, if I may ask, what do you use for monitoring? I'd worry if it doesn't give you an accurate stereo image...

shitty altec lansing speakers, they're made to give a fake surround sound so panning is muddy, really. But sound quality is decent.

I'll need a good two grand for real monitors and speakers.

No ya don't. Find yerself some KRK RP5's, they're cheap, sturdy, and beat the pants off of monitors twice their price in terms if sonic accuracy (plus on the totally lame wanky visual side the yellow cones are keen).

They're $250-300 a peice new BUT shop around and you can get a used set for about $200 total. As long as you test them out of course...
