Thank you! C: I tried to make them all at least a little more interesting than their game models... They all have different enough faces, but their body types are generally the same. Plus I kind of wanted them to resemble a bit of classic Spyro's dragon types.
Haha it's a mix of knowing they went through months of tortured captivity and that their models have their rib cages showing. They'll probably fatten out sometime after they're rescued!
Aw man, you guys are quick to notice these things! XD Yeah, they're based off of the statue. I've always wondered who that dragon was, so I've decided to incorporate them into the story.

If that's true, I don't really like that from a story perspective. I would think a statue like that would have been destroyed or placed somewhere else after the trouble Malefor caused. A training room (and all other places where the statue is reused) doesn't seem like the greatest or most inspiring place to have such a statue. XD So for this story it's going to be a different dragon.
Though I did notice that the statue in the temple and the statue in Mount Malefor are noticeably different. Not just in pose but in the face too. Similar, but not the same. I can work with that.

It's been a few years since I played the TLoS games so I thought the dressage was his! After a second look he rather reminds me of Malefor, or at least the statue in the Guardians training grounds. Maybe with Spyro's original colour of green! That being said, that design change wouldn't make sense for the story lol.
