Dharak was a key character in Gundalian Invaders, as an ancestor of the first Dharaknoid, and was considered an arch rival for Drago and a main villain. In the reboot, instead of playing as a villain, he is the guardian Bakugan of a 18 year old punk rock/heavy metal inspired boy named Deuce Tenebrae, and is part of the main cast of heroes, aka the Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Just like the other guardian Bakugan, he is the ancestor/son of the very first Dharaknoid, just like in the original series.

Similar in personality to Deuce, he is an arrogant and selfish anti-hero type, with a crude sense of humour, unlike the original Dharak, which is why he is paired with someone like Deuce. Despite his crude personality, he has no issue with defending his partner and allies, though isn't afraid to crack a rude joke at any time.

Appearance wise, he gains a humanoid body, something the original Dharak and Phantom Dharak did not attain. Though Phantom Dharak's build looked almost humanoid, it was still somewhat draconic compared to Drago's more recent evolutions in the original series. This design has the original Dharak's wings, shape, wing pattern and all, and has a tail tip similar to Phantom Dharak. However, his eye style is exactly like Drago's, or perhaps Helios', in order to show more expression to Dharak. He is, of course, Darkus in this reboot, just like in the original series.

His voice actor is Quinton Flynn, who is known for voicing Raiden from the Metal Gear franchise.
