Kazago, another original design, is the Ventus Guardian Bakugan and descendant of the first Ventus Bakugan, the first Kazagonoid. He is paired with a classic character, who has appeared as a main character throughout the original series, and that is Shun Kazami. Shun is much like his original self, with Kazago being the same: silent, cold, calculated, similar to a ninja.

He takes a similar appearance to Drago, but his body was heavily inspired by Ravenoid from the first season. He was meant to take a more avian appearance, with bird like feet and a beak, but I settled with a more reptilian style with keeping the feathered wings, as Shun's previous Bakugan in the original series were more avian based, so I want to see how he settles with a reptilian like Bakugan this time around. Kazago has a long goatee, similar to Genesis Dragonoid, but this is used to settle with Kazago's samurai/ninja style, similar to Shun.

His voice actor is Travis Willingham, who is known to voicing Colonel Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist. He is chosen as Kazago is positioned to be the wisest and more mature out of the six main Guardian Bakugan.
