i think they are based more on the original comic about Scooge McDuck. I think the comic was about his life and how he managed to make all his money

Fun fact!
Did you know that scrooge Mc duck was a prominent inspiration to the first anime cartoons made?

(They also found that in the desk that there were drawings of an anthromorphic mouse character)
