The sisters appear to be working as a tag team here. Alice has a good hold on Kat's tail, while Joan waits for her sister to drag their half sister off her back so she can re-join the match. It looks like they're having fun and I think one werewolf/bunny hybrid is a pretty close match for these two trouble makers.

Oh my, I love it! The girls are all so cute, and the artist has done an amazing job with this! Alice and Joan look so happy playing with their new half-sister, though poor Kat looks a bit annoyed at having her tail pulled. I guess Alice knows where a wolf's weak point is! I'm sure they're all having a great time, though, and it looks like they have a wonderful day for their games. And such a beautiful place to play in. It all reminds me of when I was a kid and wandered about the family farm with my brother. Or our grandparents' place, too. This is such a gorgeous picture and such a wonderful surprise! Thank you so much for commissioning this, and it's great to see the girls playing together! Pictures like this are a nice reminder of what it was like to be young and to not have to worry about anything except, maybe, having to go to school the next day.
Oh, I have no doubt that she will, and that Alice and Joan can teach her quite a lot about how to handle being outnumbered, too. Though I'm sure they all love each other as sisters should, and they'll all look back on this game with fondness when all is said and done.
I love the outfits, by the way. I totally forgot to say so in my last comment, but they all look so cute!

Awwww! There are no words for just how sweet and cute and adorable this is! Well, there are, but like usual Megan's beat me to 'em! I really, really love this pic, though. I love the feeling of childish glee and playful innocence, and of just being able to spend all day in a big sunny field like that. You have such beautiful children and you find the best people to draw them, too!
Oh yeah! And this isn't the first year either for you to get hit hard up there. Seems like they just don't quit up by Yosemite. :( I'm on the central coast near San Luis Obispo. Last year we had it bad around here but so far this year just lots of small fires that have been pretty quickly handled, thankfully.
Yep, all of the above and more. I'm not surprised actually about the National Guard. There are only so many fire personnel to go around. If anything it's amazing how much they manage to accomplish with the people, supplies and money they have. I don't know how those people can do what they do! Going into those fires in full gear, carrying so much weight and in the heat wave type weather. Each and every firefighter is a hero in my book!
I just ran across this story about the fire in LA. Check out the pictures!

I live close to the airport used by most aircraft to fight fires in the mid state area. During last year's Chimney fire that threatened Hearst Castle they were flying right over or close to my house all day long. Here's a couple of pix from then. The one of the plane and fence, they were just taking off and so heavily laden they only cleared the fence by about 20 feet.
