Owls need to be owls. We're into the fantasy of them being like how they are in folk lore, but I don't like the association that one of us has with them. The world needs to be given a chance at seeing an Owl wield his magic staff. That is to say, mind control is out there as a concept. People can deal with it. We've dealt with so many other things.
