Photoshop 7 is what I use for most of my work, coloring and that. For the rough sketch, I will sometimes use Open Canvas 1.1, or just pencil and paper

I don't know if I could explain it fully, since they aren't mine, but the jist is that Shadow has possessed Abyss, in a sense, and he pretty much just messes with Abyss's head and makes him do wicked things XD

The expressions are delightful! I can just -hear- the grittiness of Shadow's voice, and the wheels grinding in Abyss' head.

This is far and away one of the best depcitions of Abyss and Shadow I've seen yet. The whisper-in-the-ear thing, Shadow curling in towards him in a sick mockery of affection, and Abyss looking so broken-spirited...this is to die for.

I love how etheral you managed to make Shadow appear - your style of rendering in general in beautiful. I'd be very much interested in reading through a tutorial of how you achieve the particularly clean "gradient" shading effect that you do if you ever had the time/inclination to put one together.. as would many other artists, no doubt. ^^

Nice work Hibb' ^.^ You just keep the fancy stuff coming as always.

Muzzles are fantastic :D Though, the use of gradient in the highlite is bit too linear I think. But then again might be just taste issue here ^^;
