I'm not so lucky enough to play online with others. The process to get it hooked up seems so complicated.

yeah I dont have a wireless modem or whatever so I cant
but my friend who comes over has a copy and his own psp
so we just link up via the infra red ports
I also met a third hunter recently so now on the rare odd occasion
we'll have groups of 3. never been in a full group of 4 though
wish they had a version of frontier for the rest of the world to
that's the true online monster hunter for the PC
and some of the monsters on it look so awesome
and instead of buying new games Frontier is just updated online
they have a scorpion and also a crypt hydra
well im of to bed now, today I had to get a certain monster done
and it was a solo one but I dont know what you might know so im not going to do any spoilers

Suggestions....
HIT IT WITH A BIG SWORD C: Or Gunlance. For the former, mobility is key. Wait for the moment he stops, and attack then. Sure it's a bit risky, but it at least hurts him a bit. xD Longswords are GOOOOOD for that. <3 Hit him enough and the spirit energy meter hits full, you get an attack buff AND you can super-attack him with da right shouldah button.

I love fighting themmmm ;o; They're a lot easier than a Rajang, I'll tell ya that :c

And yes, that pose is awesome . . . He kinda cruises towards the camera with the I'm tough man strut.

Rajang is what I'd call the BRAWLER of the game. xD If you're not moving or paying full attention, you're DONE. xD
Rajang is one of the quests at the very FINAL part of the Elder Quests. GHHHHHH.
It's a lovely fight though. <3 And the rewards for killing him are parts for a polearm C: It's in the Longsword class, but THAT DON'T MATTER TO ME <3 I love mai polearms ;3;

And YEAH <3 I LOVE when he does that in ANY direction. It's so.....CONFIDENT XD Makes him look SO awesome.

The pinnacle of the Monster Hunter I have on PS2 was unlocking a quest to fight both a Rathalos and Rathian+ in the same quest in a swamp, I never did go online, so no upgraded versions of armor or anything. T.T

Which MH is this?

MH Freedom 2. I bought a PSP few months ago, been chipping away at monster before the release og MH Freedom Unite. This thing is made fast and agressive. He does a flying punch, burries in snow, and throughs giant snow balls. I believe he has an ice blast, too, but I'm never in front of him.

Sounds like it's more annoying than a Kirrin. Never fought a Kirrin myself but apparently they attack very suddenly and like to hit you with bolts of lightning.

Hadn't gotten far enough for that quest yet. Currently going to be facing off against the Kushala Daora and still trying to kick the Shogun Ceanataur (shich I'm at a loss every time).

And as for the KutKu, the blue subspecies is even more annoying. It likes to fly at you on a regular basis and moves faster, quite a bit faster.

I like running in the Blangonga when he's about to lobe a giant snowball. If you through your sword down right, you miss being airlifted and nail a direct hit. And thanks for all your great comments, I'm behind on my images. Been gone a for a while but now I'm back, muhaha.
