Wuff recently stopped by another Japanese restaurant in his town. AI Sushi & Grill offers "Teppan" tables where they cook meals in entertaining ways for a group of guests. You can find more about them here ( http://aisushi.co/index.php ).
Wuff ordered their Sushi & Sashimi combo, along with a few select Sushi items (Unagi - fresh water eel, and Iku-Doma (Ikura - salmon roe, with a quail egg)). The Lunch included a nice miso soup to start.
This lovely and very artistic plate arrived, and Vrghr had to snap some photos with his phone, to share with the Sushi lovers here on FA. Once again, they masters created culinary artistry with their presentations!
This was one of the better plates of sushi wuff has had recently. Very generous portions of the seafood, and EXCELLENT fresh flavors! Wuff will surely be heading back here to sample more of their menu, and perhaps enjoy one of the fun cooking displays at the Teppan tables.
Bon Appetite all!

*chuckles* Probably, "We're going to make a MINT off this one! Bonus checks at the end of the day!"
Now, if it were a sushi buffet, the sentiments might have been somewhat different! ("EEEP! We gonna go BROKE!") But this was a "by the piece" place that you paid for each type.

Wuffy has several more photos of very tasty and creatively plated sushi in his Gallery here. Just look under the "photos" category from the main gallery to find them easier.
Easily the most exotic of them was this AMAZING Sashimi creation from Tomo Sushi, here in CO Springs. It looked like a flower arrangement!

And everything in that bowl was edible! Just like the tasting room in Wonka's factory! *grins*
