At long last my journey was coming to a close, with only two characters left to power through, but I wasn't going to be getting any miracle aid this time around.
Applejack and Fluttershy, again based on this: https://derpibooru.org/66857
I would have to synthesize the legs and tails for both of them, but with enough practice under my belt I felt comfortable giving a shot. They turned out ok, I'd say, but overall they're not my favorites of the bunch, that's for sure - though that's also due, in part, to me not entirely loving the source material anyways, and I mostly just did them for completion's sake.
If the original art interests you, you can find the rest of it, including my own additions here: https://derpibooru.org/search?q=dra.....t%3Acatstuxedo
Since then the artist has only added a few pictures to the series, and I didn't feel particularly compelled to do the rest. I do recall the artist giving some acknowledgement to the vectors, but that was likely on Tumblr and even then my work was still anonymous at the time (as in I asked the artist to leave my name out since I was deathly afraid of critique at the time).
They're old, they're pretty sloppy, but overall I'm still surprised I managed to stick through to the end and finished all of them - it certainly took quite a while.
Would I consider doing sketch-to-vector conversions again in the future? Maybe though probably not unless I felt super compelled to - they take quite a lot of work, even when you are familiar with the program, and I've gotten rather rusty as of late. All-in-all it's usually cheaper, more time efficient, and easier just to ask the artist to finish a piece. Not to mention they'll probably give you a higher quality result, too.
