If I were to describe myself and my thoughts before my situation, I would say that I was a turquoise-scaled kobold with spikes on the back of my head and on my tail. I weighed 48 pounds and was four feet tall, more than a foot taller than my tribe’s average; whether this is from the draconic taint I bear or simply better nutrition and sunlight exposure, I cannot say. My only clothing was a loincloth, as I had little to hide on my scaled body. I would lie awake at night wondering how my mundane fate may have been different if I hadn’t possessed the moral fiber to free Bigby and instead became a chieftain, or if he recovered from the ordeal, or even if I truly had the blood of dragons of myth within me. I wished for an escape from an now-purposeless existence, as if my hand in Bigby’s escape was the defining moment of my life and I was now on the decline at the young age of twenty. However, my current situation seems to be the result of cosmic forces answering my call for purpose in a manner impossibly over the top.

Lank is my character in  Bomba's Pathfinder campaign! Born to the Churg kobold tribe, Lank had a pronounced horn, back spikes, and facial protrustions that led his tribesmen to believe he had the "blood of dragons" within him. He was set on the fast track to become the tribe's next chieftain until an incident with Bigby of Highfolk (played by  Marshtomphappy) led to him fleeing his tribe and living as an outcast in a town of civilized mammals with Bigby. When the two of them later learned that their entire pasts may be an elaborate lie planted into their brains, and with the depiction of prophetic images of them and their companions as potential proof, Lank jumped at the call to adventure, hoping to regain the greatness he was once set to have and wanting his adoptive brother Bigby to come along. What he found, however, was beyond his wildest imagination…

Lank is a born leader and very logical, but due to being an outcast in his town after fleeing his tribe, he never had the opportunity to become worldly or learn about more mature matters. His life was tied to his love for his adoptive brother Bigby, and thus he knows little else despite his deductive skills and empathy for others.

Why yes, he does look a lot like Thorn. I wonder what that's about?!
