As my latest "Throwback Thursday" winds down, I have one more 'photo-op' to present. It was taken on Sunday, April 9, 2017- by my brother Glenn, with the digital camera feature of his smartphone - at the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital in Coral Springs, Florida...
This is a follow-up to my last posted picture - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/23279027/ - when my bro captured this rare moment, as a caged great white heron briefly flew from one side of the pond to the other. Resting at another portion of its enclosure, Glenn was able to take a 'close-up' shot of the bird (who was standing in the water - instead of on one of the rocks along the shore of this man-made pond).
Said heron shares her cage with a turtle - who will be the subject of another 'photo-op' next week. In fact, I'll have two or three more rare 'photo-ops' of additional species native to the 'Sunshine State' on the last "Throwback Thursday" of the month! (And if you'd like to see past pix of these animals, just click on SawgrassNatureCenter in the 'Keywords' section.)
This particular 'photo-op' (and others like it), currently in my 'Gallery', will be transferred to my 'Scraps' section, as of July, 2017...
