Seconded; removing animals from their habits should be up to knowledgable professionals, not to some animal enthusiast who's looking for a trendy pet. I would recommend looking up your local wildlife officials about this matter as I venture to bet the damage is already done.

Before you remove an animal from their habitat, you need to ask yourself, 'Was the animal in any clear, immediate danger?' 'Was the animal injured in any sort of way?' and 'What possible repercussions will occur if I remove this animal?'

I'm not accusing you of being ill-equipped to care for this animal but I hope you take full responsibility of what happens to this animal hereon-out.

For example, It appears that you have been feeding him bread in this picture. I highly doubt manufactured bread is a suitable diet for a young, wild animal.

Sorry for hounding on you but I really hope you know what you're doing.

I'm not sure what animal that is, but i'd take it to a shelter immediately. It's family was probably nearby and/or they think he's dead now.

It is Illegal to have a WILD animal in your house without the proper permissions, even rescued.

He is cute, but the poor thing should have been left alone. As others have said, the family was probably nearby and furthermore, foxes do not hold up well in a domestic setting. They tend to live much longer lives in the wild.

I found when I was very thin and barely moved, the area where I live there are so many hunters who would kill his mother, and I know enough to treat it.
