One of my hobbies is building and painting models. This is a model fort I made from scratch sized to 1/72 scale figures. It's not a model of any specific fort just one I made up. The palisade wall is made of dowel rods that I cut and sharpened with a file, then hot glued on. The buildings are also dowel rods cut and glued. It took quite some time to make this but I think it turned out good. I hope you all enjoy. Let me know what you guys think of it.

That building on the left is the barracks and has loopholes in it. As far as cannon go there was no place for one. If they need to they can use the howitzer there in the compound. Or you could just pretend that that side of the fort has a big cliff just past it. All in all there was just no room for a gun with space for the crew. But you know that every fortification has to have a week point.
