Definitely one of the greatest names in Rock n Roll.
Here we see Wilson doing the legendary "duck walk".
In case you are not familiar , it was Mr. Berry's signature "move".

I think this Chuck Berry album was one of the first albums I ever owned:

I still own it today. Even when I was 8 or 9 years old, I loved the oldies.
I think "Johnny B. Goode" is one of the most recognizable oldies of all time.
Remember it in "Back to The Future"?

And I think we will always move our fingers over our eyes sideways while doing the twist because of this scene from Pulp Fiction.

And have you ever heard "My Ding a Ling"? The song was banned on some radio stations in 1972 because of its suggestive lyrics.

Believe it or not, this was his only #1 song in the USA

Oh I remember hearing about his passing :c We've lost one of the greats of music and one of the founding fathers of Rock n Roll. This is a great picture man, and a wonderful way to memorialize him. That's one of the reasons I enjoy your content so much. Not only do you honor, celebrate, and show off the past, but you're also very respectful and thoughtful of it as well and when things like this happen you're right there to give them the mention they deserve to see them off. God bless you Tilt, you're one heck of a fella and I'm sure Chuck would've gotten a kick out of this picture.
Lets just say that Back to the Future introduced me to that song as well as Chuck Berry himself.
"Hey Chuck, its Marvin.......Your Cousin, Marvin Berry, You know that new sound ya lookin for? Well Listen to this!"
Though I first heard The Beatles & The Beach Boys' covers of "Rock & Roll Music" before I knew that it was a Chuck Berry song years ago, same thing with hearing The Beatles' cover of "Roll Over Beethoven" first before Chuck Berry's.
To Be Honest, in my opinion that "ding-a-ling" song was "strange", "weird", & "embarrasing" for my ears to hear, thats why I never played that song after first listen again, though sometimes the chorus still haunts my brain.
Still surprised to find out he died just recently, I thought he already died years ago before now
