Hurray for depressing subjects! ^^
This is a character I created for no specific reason, just for fun. Her name is Raiisha, and she was once a skilled herbalist who had a pretty good life despite being a non-human. One day she made a mistake, she fell in love with the daughter of the local noble, and the two started a secret relationship and even tried to run away together. They were caught obviously, and it was a scandal. The daughter of a noble fell in love with another girl who wasn't even human, that risked to taint the whole family reputation!
As punishment, Raiisha was tortured and abused in unspeakable ways by the nobleman's soldiers, and then thrown in a ditch. The girl she loved was supposed to be sent to a convent, but she took her life before then.
Needless to say Raiisha was quite broken after all that. She currently works in a brothel in the slums, where people don't mind her scars too much, and all she wants is to forget everything. Wine and drugs help with that.

It's like you read my mind here, in many parts you literally nailed how Raiisha feels, especially the fact that she feels it's all her fault, or the fact that she wants to die deep down. You made her so alive!
