Iris has been training with lava more often to the point where she can comfortably dip in lava like a bath. She does this from time to time, especially now when she's been deep in thought for a good few months.

Her ability to withstand heated temperatures? She's still practicing and experimenting. For now though seems lava temperatures or slightly above she can handle. If you're talking about the pit itself filled with lava it's not that deep. Around 12 feet or so. She didn't want it too deep IN CASE something happened.
