This was a shorter piece that I wrote back in 2016 for a friend of mine whilst they were coming out of a rough patch in their life. It was one of those spur-of-the-moment "can you do this for me," style of things, and so I acquiesced. What came of it all was this, a roughly 500 word (504, to be exact) story that's largely just emotional, or so I like to think. It also just shows the kind writing I enjoy, little dialogue, lots of descriptions and so forth.
I do hope those of you who read it enjoy it to your own degrees, and do critique me! All I want to do is improve and what not.
