Thanks for the compliment! Having good references helps, for sure. Equines definitely do have challenging facial features.

I think the trick is that you have to think of their whole face as a wedge shape, rather than a round shape with a muzzle, like with other animals. The snout connects to the whole front of the face, not just the lower portion.

I agree 100% There's just something magical about mares! I like your idea of doing a YCH. That always seems to be a good way to get some support from the fan base.
