The jungle world of Mhen’ga is home to a number of strange and exotic creatures, but chief among them are the Zil. These bee-like aliens rely primarily upon pheromones for their communication and self-defense, the cloying scent of their intoxicating aroma usually enough to reduce even the hardiest Planet Rush explorer into a drooling fuck puppet for the tribal folk. Some, however, have taken to teaching the Zil to cooperate with the UGC and the myriad corporations that want nothing more than to dig in to the wealth of resources that Mhen’ga offers.
The Zil, for their part, generally don’t trust the people from the sky. Nowhere is this distrust more acute than at the Snugglé Plantation. The unrest is stoked to an inferno by one R.K. Lah, a convict shipped from off-world to work on the plantation and who, in escaping, found his message of distrust for the government was exactly what the Zil were hoping to hear. Calling him the “Word Wolf,” the Zil chieftain Quinn and her assorted peoples threaten the safety of the “Land Stealers’” plantation and possibly even the safety of Esbeth, the sole city in the hot and hostile jungle world.
