This is a drawing I made quite some time ago for mt friend TitusW (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/titusw/) , since at that time he was working on armours for his anthro races. It's a concept for a panther royal guard, who wears a human-crafted breastplate together with his traditional clothing, which is (more or less) Aztec inspired. If you want to know more about this setting have a look at Titus' gallery!

haha he's been around here for some time now, we have a very similar taste in art. ^^
The Aztec part is basically just the pattern on the cloth and the jewelry. The armor he wears was crafted by humans, as they are more advanced.
Thanks! :D I'll be sure to do it that way the next time!

haha yeah, he's been super kind with that journal! :D
The only vaguely Aztec things about his outfit are the patterns on the cloth and the jewelry. In Titus' setting humans are generally more advanced and make better armor, so the breastplate he wears was most likely bought from human blacksmiths and that is why it doesn't look Aztec at all. Being a royal guard he gets the best equipment available.
Thank you a lot, I'm glad you like it! :D That is the symbol of one of the factions in Titus' setting, and he decide to use it as his icon.

You do know, Sir, that you can go here and make an avatar very quickly instead of using a generic. http://resizeimage.net/ Very easy to use, even I understand it and I grew up on cuneiform! (so to speak).
