What a beautiful painting! I really like the bird's slender look and the skilful use of white colour. Those totally white areas without any shadows or shades give it more realistic look. The bird looks so soft that you just want to pet it! ^^ I love this! I'm a big fan of oil colours too and I've experienced the problems too of using them in small rooms. XD The smell is terrible! By the way - how long did it take to finish this?

I'm glad you like it! It took about 6 hours, in 2-hour sessions with a week of letting the paint dry in between. I really didn't want the white to be - I don't know what you say in English, we say contaminated - contaminated by the other colours.
