Shannon Hardstep (rabbit) - A lover of all things that fly, she aspires to be the Southern Jut's best pilot. Was taken in by the Berril household at a young age, growing up as good friends with Huxley.

'Cord' (otter) - His actual name unknown, he happens upon Shannon and Huxley, offering mechanical assistance with their airship in return for transportation to a supposedly huge treasure hunt.

Huxley Berril (bear) - One of the sons of mining magnate Fitzroy Berril. A lapsed geomancer, Huxley finds himself more interested in roaming the skies and seas with his friends than living up to his father's legacy.

The Greatest of Ease (airship) - Powered by the arcane, coveted material known as verdutite, the late Fitzroy's airship was given to Shannon and Huxley. Though it's in...questionable repair, it manages to get them about, thanks to Cord.
