When I found the fandom in Jan 2011, it did not take long for me to find Tilt Longtail's videos. As I binged on his videos I eventually stumbled upon footage from DooDah and the character, Stormy Raccoon. A fursuiter in a pie fight?! How awesome! And this pie fight was part of some annual public event?! EVEN MORE AWESOME! I thought to myself "Boy doing something like that would be cool..." and continued my video binge, watching with awe and a bit of excitement as Tilt slimed and pied his suits for our entertainment.
Who'd have thunk that now, in April 2017, I'd be calling Tilt one of my good friends and actually making the drive down to Ocean City NJ from Boston after work on a Friday to participate in the 2017 DooDah Parade and Pieasco. It was an incredible experience and I had so much fun! Check out these pics I took just before and just after the Pieasco (https://twitter.com/NexusFolf/statu.....78477209026561). I did it! I got pied on those bleachers with the Raccoon that got me into this silly world of WAM!
Thanks for inviting us down Tilt, it was a weekend I'll never forget and hopefully an event we can attend many more times in the future :3

Stormy had the same effect on me too. Saw the Pieasco 2007 video, and thought to myself, "wow, these guys have insane amounts of courage to be doing something like this, letting folks come up to throw pies at them in full costume." That was when I decided I wanted to seek out these "furries" wherever they were.
