I was about to say that she is born in the mush later in the future because the whole rockafire timeline takes place in the 2000s while emily is born not he year all of them are dead but since I changed the time line into a more accurate one where rolfe and adria met in the 80s and Emily is born in the 90s, it makes sense that they are still alive.
