His lips could not resist the urge to form a smile as her bright blue eyes met his golden, she shared her heart-warming smile as she leaned into him, resting her head against his shoulder. His hearts, Dion elves having multiple, beat rapidly in his chest as he felt the warmth radiate from her skin. "How long has it been?" He asked her with a soft, but still grizzled voice. Rieku looked up at her husband confused, but then she understood his question "I want to stay, 100 years? Maybe more? I honestly don't remember..." she replied, disappointed in herself for forgetting. Rikonas put his arm around her shoulders and gently kissed her forehead, after many years of being rough, tough and a warrior of the crown he had settled down and softened up, raising 8 wonderful children with a woman who he used to despise, she felt the same way back then as well. The first years of their marriage were less then affectionate, two powerful races trying to assert their dominance over one-another was never room for a "good time". However, once they put down their pride the marriage was smooth, and better than Rikonas thought himself worthy of. He's a Father, Grandfather and someday would be a Great-Grandfather... He enjoyed the simple life, spending many days with his wife and giving her all she deserved. Rieku's fire burned for Rikonas, he and their children were her world and she enjoyed it, she would never trade her life for anything."
