newest piece! from just a few days back.
decided to re-draw an old piece from about 4 years ago, just to see how far i've come. the original was just me dabbling in a painted style, while this is more true to my current style.
also a test in atmosphere and expressiveness; while the original is more calm and serene, i wanted Caslien (the bigger character) to seem more protective, a bit more on guard and ready to go if he has to. i think i did a pretty decent job on that front. uvu
