Before this, the only really good pic of him I had was a headshot form a B-day gift from my friend,

I've been thinking about that...I'm thinking that the skull on his belt buckle moves up and his pants shrink to be skin-tight on his body, moving with the skull as he turns that color red and the skull brows, re-joining with the other mask fragments as he grows bony coverings/claws over his hands and feet. Possibly bony armor over where his stripes would be as well.
