Pokemon's anniversary was in February, so I drew this for it. uwu Pokemon means the absolute world to me, so I had to draw something for it. The initial description:

Pokémon has not only been one of the biggest passions of my life, but it’s helped shape who I am. Playing, watching, collecting, writing, drawing - it has been such a central part of my life since I was introduced to it in second grade. I owe it so, so much for being like a best friend all these years, always making me feel connected to such a fantastic franchise on a personal level.

I was anxious even as a child, and one of my biggest worries was Pokémon “going out of business” (discontinuing and dying off like other franchises). If I could tell my younger self all of the amazing things Pokémon has created in 2016 and 2017, I think she’d be amazed. I’d tell her not to worry - Pokémon is still going strong, and it’s still the love of my life.
