This is something I sketched in reply to the image
itax doodled of WhiteX trying to break into my stash of early art. Folks, trust me... everything I did from SCFA/Yerf up to now, is my worthwhile art. Before that was so-so, and my early stuff was pretty bad. Can't blame the bunny for trying, though... <=)

I know the feeling! Art tends to get 'old' at the artist's eyes as they improve and what once was a worthy picture becomes an embarassing statement of one's earlier failures. Which is a good sign, actually! That means your style has improved and purified thru time and have earned enough humility to realize you haven't been always perfect.
Then again, this shyness to show one's old stuff -only- embarasses the artist. Usually, when somebody does look at the stuff, nobody bursts in laughter fits or point their fingers at you, especially in this time when even stick-man 'art' is almost mainstream. So it's not as terrible as one thinks, even if you feel as if you were naked in front of a big crowd or something.
It happens the same with the stuff I find really personal, I'm not fond to show it, simply because I'm afraid I'll be misinterpreted. WHich explains why I upload so little stuff nowadays.

*chuckle* Actually, it was more WhiteX's impression of where my ancient art was than anything else. What few there are, are kept just to keep me humble. I've been very fortunate to gain a position of renown for my art, and it's wise to keep in mind how long it took me to get where I am.. *^_^*
