More Esmera, this time as if she were a Bond Girl. Long nights ahead for James, he sure would have his hands full with this one.

Anyway, yeah! Esmera could totally feature in an Ames Sond film. I have a lioness lined up for the role of Pussy Galore, though, so I'm left wondering who Esmera could play. Holly Goodhead? Tiffany Case? I have a lot of Bond/Sond girls already planned out or already drawn, but there are plenty remaining too.
Tiffany stands out to me as very sassy, but she's not good with guns, whereas this picture of Esmera makes her seem like a competent firearm handler. [Tiffany also seems fitting because she had a number of wigs and changing her hair was part of her character - and a naga's hair is presumably always a wig, if you prescribe to the idea that nagas don't naturally have hair!]

As for Esmera appearing in a Sond film: I think I have almost every single Sond girl from all the movies totally planned out, now. At least, all the main-character ones / any of the women that appear on the posters. (In my last comment I had mentioned Holly Goodhead from Moonraker, which has already been created with a roadrunner bird in that role. Also, Tiffany Case from Diamonds are Forever ended up being a fiery salamander.)
If you want to list some of your fave Bond movies, I could think about what minor roles there are for women in them, ones that haven't been planned/picked yet. But the ones who I haven't cast yet are likely to be just sort of side characters that won't have the action element your picture here implies. It seems you would like Esmera to have a more 'exciting' role.

I haven't planned anything at all for the characters in 'Never Say Never Again', which was this non-official Bond movie in 1983, which was basically a remake of Thunderball that someone was allowed to make because he was one of the original writers on a project that eventually became the book of Thunderball (and the movie thereafter, of course).
There's a rather larger-than-life villainess in that movie that could work, for Esmera. https://jamesbond.fandom.com/wiki/Fatima_Blush She was a bit insane, but she might fit the bill for what you'd want for Esmera. I assume you want her to be someone capable and not just a damsel in distress or some random girl that is infatuated with Sond.

In The Spy Who Loved Me, there was this character, who I have not planned anything for, yet:

She's a henchwoman, first gives Bond and the main female lead of the film a tour of the villain's lair [at that point, they don't know he's the villain], then soon after, is flying a helicopter to try to kill them both.
During the tour, Bond and his Russian spy partner are posing as husband and wife, and Naomi draws Bond's eye, kind of seducing this supposedly married man away from his wife.

I think this would be a pretty good fit for Esmera.

If you read that big comment there, you'll see that the main idea was to have a single naga woman luring Sond into the grotto, before more show up. Esmera could be the first and foremost one.

I went ahead and read your thoughts of the bewitching naga luring Sond into the water for "Moonrakersss" and other serpentine beautifies making their appearance to put Sond into a bit of peril. Esmera could be a good fit for that, being a beautiful red-head and also fulfill the role of an Emerald Tree Boa for your vision of varied snake species!
Also, it would be the perfect Sondian bluff to have a KO dose in the pen and "kill" one of the ladies, then say there's more when the charge has been used. X )

Also, it would be the perfect Sondian bluff to have a KO dose in the pen and "kill" one of the ladies, then say there's more when the charge has been used. X )

You've probably given it more thought than me on what array of constrictor species to place in your scene, but I like this role quite a bit for Es!
I think it comes down to this: You have to be a more minor and more subdued role in a movie you like more (Moonrakerssss).. or you can be a major role in a movie a lot of Bond fans might not have even seen, since it's a non-EON-productions / non-canon film.
And the decision would also be like.. choosing between a very sensual moment [the seduction and the glut of sexy snakes in the grotto, in Moonrakerssss], or the more villain 'drama' you could have with Fatima Blush. Then again, we could also have a picture of Sond having a romantic interlude with Fatima, for there is a moment of mingling with those two before she reveals herself to be an assassin. In the film, they get it on in a boat's kinda dingy supply room, but we could make it something more glamorous, like out in the sea, or up on the boat's deck, or out on a sea-rock.
And speaking of what the actual picture would be, I would imagine I would get a picture of just Sond with Esmera in the Moonraker grotto, and the arrival of all the other snakes would merely be written about in my accompanying scene. Ie: I would have the pic of Esmera luring Sond into the water, and my writing would then take over and explain the rest of the scene. I mean, if I had infinite money, I could also get a shot of all the other nagas appearing, but it doesn't seem cost-effective. [Maybe some snaky shadows on the edges of the illustration, to imply they're hiding out there, if anything.]

Well, speaking as commissioner-to-commissioner and as a fan of good ideas: having you be able to realize your scene concept from last year in a picture, and it also be the catalyst for some more excellent writing speaks more to me rather than featuring Es in a bombastic 'main role'.
As for the many varied nagas scene...it could be a sort of raffle => YCH event, whereupon folks enter their nagas for the chance to pitch in for the large project that would no doubt require some deep pockets from 1 customer. A price split 5 or 6 ways is way more digestible, is it not?

Getting a group of naga-women to pitch in for the picture is something I considered, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to find the right mixture of species of large constrictor women who would also care about Ames Sond enough to participate.
Much easier to just get a pic with Esmera luring Sond into the pond, then write the rest.
