I haven't had the best relationship with my art lately so to clear my head a bit I took some time and just drew something that came into my mind. Something that was not too hard but still was good practice. The rain was actually added when the rest was already done just because I felt like animating rain again ^^
I didn't want to spend more time on this so there's no rain dropping from the fur, so just imagine it only just started raining ;) And I guess it doesn't exactly make sense that the fur is moving but the rain is falling straight down, but... pssst! Hope you guys like it!

The fur animation consists of 5 different frames, starting with the fur being in front, ending with it at the back. It consists of 4 frames with relatively equal movement distance and an additional frame between the third and fourth of these to slow it down a bit at this part and make the movement a little more dynamic. In the end the animation goes 1 2 3 4 5 3 2 -> restart, skipped 4 here again to give it a more dynamic speed. The rain is animated over the full length of the animation, so 7 frames in total. The drops on the fur are 3 frames repeated in a random order. The rain was actually a thing of 5 minutes, the fur animation is definitely the main part of the work.
Of course the animation could be smoother but for only 5 frames of actual work it's okay I guess ^^ If you do try your hand on another animation and have a question just drop me a note.
Monchis work is really cute :)
